#ReclaimConstitution Quiz
Preliminary round
The first edition of #ReclaimConstitution quiz is designed to spark curiosity and deepen understanding of constitutional values among young minds. The quiz is open to students of grades 8-12 of public & private schools/pre-university colleges across all States & Union Territories of India. Homeschooled students are also encouraged to participate. Registrations automatically close after reaching 1500 teams. More than a test, the quiz is a celebration of India’s democratic spirit.
- Registrations open on National Flag Day (22 July 2025)
- The online preliminary round will be held on Constitution Day (26 November 2025)
- The Grand Finale will take place at Sabha Blr in Bengaluru on Republic Day (26 January 2026)
The Grand Prize is a trip to Rashtrapati Bhavan (accompanied by a parent) for the winners.
Other exciting prizes include cash prize & books for the top 3 teams.
The #ReclaimConstitution quiz hopes to inspire a generation that not only learns about the Constitution, but also feels responsible for safeguarding its founding values.
All registrants will receive four books (shown below) for free to help prepare for the quiz.
Rules:
- 3 members per team mandatory.
- Incorrect entries will be rejected.
- Students are encouraged to form teams across different grades.
- Any number teams can register from a school.
- Teams are encouraged to have more than one gender
- All members of a team should be from the same school/college.
- Top teams of each of the 6 zones (North, South, East, West, Central, North East + Andaman & Nicobar + Lakshadweep) will be selected from the Preliminary round to travel to the grand finale in Bengaluru.
- Travel & accommodation for the Grand Finale will be covered.

Quiz Master

Berty Ashley was born and brought up in the ancient Tamil city of Madurai. An alumnus of Vikaasa school and The American College, he followed his dreams of becoming a scientist. He is now a Molecular Geneticist at the Dystrophy Annihilation Research Trust (a.k.a DART). DART is the only parent-run scientific organization in the world which has the ability to make artificial DNA. At DART, Berty and other scientists work on cutting-edge technology to design, synthesize and validate personalized genetic therapy for children suffering from rare genetic disorders such as Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.
Berty has been taking part and conducting quizzes since his school days. The love for trivia and funda made him develop his own characteristic quizzing style in which he infuses his trademark humour and pop-culture references. A childhood dream came true when Siddhartha Basu, known as the Godfather of Quizzing in India invited him to be the senior content editor for the south Indian version of Kaun Banega Crorepati where he was responsible for making the questions and ensuring their facts are correct. He is the author of the popular 'Easy Like Sunday Morning' quiz in the Hindu Sunday Magazine which is renowned for the 'work-out-ability' factor. It is currently on a run of unbroken weekly quizzes for eight years.
